The Digital team of MSF’s Communications and Engagement Division advises, plans and executes online engagement strategies for the Ministry.
You will be part of the team managing the content strategy and development for MSF’s social media platforms, and assist with social listening and social media marketing, to develop greater public affinity between MSF and our audiences.

What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be working with the team to:
• Conduct regular content audits, and reviewing content performance indicators to assess effectiveness of our content strategy.
• Review and implement a content strategy for MSF’s digital platforms to achieve customer engagement and strategic communications goals.
• Conceptualise and create content for a variety of digital platforms as part of integrated comms campaigns, working with colleagues, and MSF partners and stakeholders.
• Review and manage our social media marketing strategy, and assist with analysing performance to optimise our social media marketing campaigns.
• Provide recommendations on digital content partnerships to optimise engagement outcomes.
• Manage digital agency vendors to ensure timely and quality deliverables that meet expectations.
• Advise ministry colleagues on best practices for social media content and marketing strategies.
• Manage our social media community to achieve citizen engagement outcomes.
What we are looking for
Functional/Technical Competencies:
• Academic background in Digital communications, Mass communications, Journalism or equivalent with at least 3 years of working experience.
• Excellent spoken and written English language communication skills, with a flair for social media story telling.
• Strong critical analysis skills, with an ability to engage the public online and render assistance in a personable way
• Experience with social media content creation and strategy; social media marketing and management tools, social media platforms; and social listening/monitoring tools.
• Experience with vendor management.
• Working knowledge of photography/photo-editing, videography/video-editing will be an advantage.
Other Competencies:
Self-driven, adaptable, meticulous, ability to manage various stakeholders, ability to multi-task and deliver under challenging timelines, and a good team player with an eye for detail.
