Senior Manager/Consultant (IT Asset Management)

What the role is
What you will be working on
Join our dynamic IT Asset Management team at CPFB, where you'll play a crucial role in optimising our technology ecosystem. We're responsible for managing IT assets throughout their lifecycle and overseeing enterprise IT agreements, ensuring operational excellence, cost-efficiency, and compliance with Government Policies.
In this role, you will:
• Develop and maintain IT asset lifecycle policies, standards and processes for hardware and software, ensuring alignment with CPFB's risk appetite to meet governance, compliance, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate decision-making on hardware and software purchases/renewals, and asset redistribution.
• Manage enterprise IT agreements, including preparing for software audits and conducting cost modelling for volume licensing agreements.
• Conduct software license compliance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimise IT assets.
• Manage IT assets and inventories, maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in relevant asset management databases.
• Work closely with vendors and internal teams to maintain Software Asset Management (SAM) tools, including coordinating system upgrades/patching and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth operation of asset management systems.
What we are looking for
We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team:
• Relevant experience in IT asset management and software licensing
• Knowledge of license models, software metrics and volume licensing agreements
• Understanding of IT procurement processes
• Experience with SAM tools (e.g. Snow License Manager, IBM License Metric Tool) would be advantageous
• Good organisational and multitasking abilities
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on a 2-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
