The Wildlife Management Division in NParks is the first responder for all wildlife-related feedback in Singapore and engages the community on human-wildlife encounters in our City in Nature as part of our multi-pronged approach.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Wildlife Management & Outreach Branch to work on a digital transformation initiative, facilitate technology adoption among staff, and refine systems based on feedback and performance metrics.
The key duties for the position include the following:
- Data analytics of feedback trends, hotspots, recurring issues, and associated follow-up measures to guide policy decisions
- Build shared response repository for wildlife-related feedback scenarios and leverage AI/machine learning to generate relevant responses
- Use tools such as Power BI or Qlik Sense to build dashboards for data visualisation and generation of reports to enhance operations
What we are looking for
- Area of study in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred
- Relevant working experience in digital transformation projects would be advantageous
- Relevant knowledge in statistics and data analysis tools would be advantageous
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- A team player with initiative, drive and good interpersonal skills who is able to work independently
- Able to work in a team and collaborate across departments
