What the role is

The Industry Development Division 2 (IDD2) is part of the Training Partners Group in SSG which aims to build a robust and high-quality Continuing Education and Training (CET) ecosystem through strategic partnerships and management of CET providers, and engagement of enterprises in skills development.

What you will be working on

Account Management and Strategic Partnerships • Manage strategic CET training providers to develop capabilities and conduct course reviews. • Perform contract management activities, including preparing budget proposals, managing contract sign-offs, and handling grant disbursements. • Work with strategic partners, such as Sector Agencies, to plan and support CET sectoral manpower development needs aligned with Industry and Jobs Transformation Maps. Programme and Project Management • Manage national initiatives such as the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programmes (SCTPs) and National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning (NACE) • Project manage key strategic CET and assess corresponding courses and funding eligibility. Data Management and Reporting • Develop and maintain data dashboards to track, monitor, and report programme outcomes. • Develop and refresh CET sector heatmaps to provide insights into sector development. Pipeline Development and Operational Improvement • Build a pipeline of additional SkillsFuture Queen Bees and strategic CET training providers who can act as multipliers and change agents for sectors such as Creative Industries, Infocomm Technology and Media, Professional Services and Lifestyle sectors. • Review, identify, and implement work streamlining measures to improve operational effectiveness and productivity in the long run

What we are looking for

• Possess the required competencies to execute the job duties proficiently • 4 to 5 years of experience in account management, strategic partnerships, or programme management. • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management and visualization tools. • Experience with strategic planning and execution in a sectoral development context. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage high-profile accounts. • Ability to drive operational improvements and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

About SkillsFuture Singapore

SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Education (MOE). It will drive and coordinate the implementation of the national SkillsFuture movement, promote a culture and holistic system of lifelong learning through the pursuit of skills mastery, and strengthen the ecosystem of quality education and training in Singapore. SSG will strengthen the adult training infrastructure by taking on all existing functions of the Committee for Private Education (CPE) and guide the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) to enhance the capabilities and professionalism of adult educators. SSG will play a key role in the quality assurance for private education institutions and adult training centres. Together with educational institutions and training partners, SSG will ensure that students and working adults have access to high quality, industry-relevant training throughout life. SSG will also bring together synergies in continuing education and training (CET) and pre-employment training (PET), so skills requirements will continue to meet the demands of different sectors of the economy.
