[Temp - 6+6 months] Community Relationship Ambassador, ServiceSG

What the role is

You will be deployed on a 42 hours 5-day rostered shift (weekends may be included). The daily operating hours (except public holidays) for ServiceSG Centre is 9.00am to 6.00pm.

What you will be working on

[Key Responsibilities]: • Provide information, attend to queries, and perform transactions based on a defined set of FAQs and SOPs from a variety of topics including government schemes, financial assistance, application procedures etc. within service standards. This includes routine activities and single transactions as per customer’s request. • Provide admin support in all aspects of the ServiceSG Centre operations • Responsible in collection of forms, answer calls and enquiry, divert of calls and updating of statistics. • Handle transactions from different government agencies and ensure that statistics are captured after every transaction. • Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving general issues with digital government services • Direct citizens to relevant channels according to their needs • Encourage citizens to self-help by teaching them how to use agencies’ e-services

What we are looking for

We are looking for a positive and inquisitive teammate who: • Engages customers in a professional manner and uphold good service standards • Can guide and educate citizens to navigate e-services • Keeps up to date with policy and process changes of simple transactions • Can provide relevant information and advise customers on policy • Can work independently with some guidance, exercise discretion in the handling of day-to-day tasks and able to escalate issues when necessary • Customer-oriented with good interpersonal skills • Can communicate effectively in English and be conversant in a second language • Has proficiency in Microsoft Office • Is Flexible in work deployment/locations Work Experience required: • Tertiary Education • Experience in Customer Service or related field Working location - 10 ServiceSG Centres across Singapore
