What the role is
What you will be working on
The officer will support the media relations team in:
- Working with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop media materials
- Identifying and developing media opportunities that highlights WSG's programmes and initiatives
- Establish and maintain relationships with media contacts
- Overseeing daily media monitoring for WSG
- Attending to media queries
- Coordinating on media support requests from divisions
- Assisting in media duties during events
- Any other ad-hoc requests
What we are looking for
You should have the following work experience and knowledge:
- Prior experience in corporate/public communications, media and stakeholder engagement
You should possess the following skill sets:
- Excellent communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and provide sound and strategic advice under tight timelines.
- Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently and is a good team player.
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Candidates with a good command of a Mother Tongue language preferred
