What the role is

What you will be working on

The officer will support the social media team: - Collect and analyse social media data from various platforms to extract actionable insights - Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as engagement rate, follower growth and campaign effectiveness - Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track performance metrics and trends - Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to enhance content strategy, audience targeting and overall social media presence. - Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in social media analytics - Conduct competitive analysis to identify industry trends and benchmark our performance   - Support team with content production and other data-related projects - Any other ad-hoc requests

What we are looking for

You should have the following work experience and knowledge: - Relevant experience in social media data analysis, preferably in a marketing, digital agency, or related industry. - Proven track record of leveraging social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, Emplifi, etc.) to derive insights and optimise strategies. - Graphic design skills using programmes such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc. is a preferred. You should possess the following skill sets: - Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, content, and digital teams. - Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyse root causes and propose solutions based on data findings. - Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis, reporting and presentation of findings. - Adaptability and Learning Agility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new tools and techniques quickly in a dynamic and evolving digital landscape. - Creative Thinking: Thinking outside the box to uncover unique insights, devise new metrics for evaluation or propose creative solutions to enhance social media performance and engagement.
