What the role is

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) aspires to be a world-class organisation in delivering safety and security for our people. The jobholder will be a key member of the iLMS (a SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system for MHA/Home Team Departments (HTDs)) Office. The jobholder provides in-depth business domain expertise across the functional areas of Logistics, Finance and Procurement to support and help MHA achieve an integrated and common operating environment. This position reports to the Deputy Director, Operational Logistics.

What you will be working on

The officer will cover project planning, scheduling, coordination and implementation work as well as business process reviews pertaining to the setup of new Chart of Accounts (COA) for MHA in iLMS, including but not limited to: • Co-lead within iLMS Office and engage and coordinate with Business Domain Owners on the necessary data cleansing before the setup of new COA. • Co-lead within iLMS Office and engage and coordinate with Business Domain Owners on the strategies to ensure the setup of new COA continually meet WOG & MHA policy and governance requirements. • Co-lead within iLMS Office and engage and coordinate with Business Domain Owners on the mapping of new COA to the Material and Service Master Data in iLMS. • Co-lead within iLMS Office and engage and coordinate with Business Domain Owners to review existing business process for selection of Material and Service Master Data in iLMS to ensure correct selection by users moving forward. • Manage the periodic reporting of the progress of key activities for setup of new COA. • Any other tasks as assigned by reporting officer.

What we are looking for

• At least 2-3 years of progressive project experience in supporting the development and management of ERP systems in large organisations. • Experience in Government Finance, Logistic, Procurement or related working environment would be a plus point. • A good grasp of MHA or Government-related Finance, Logistic, Procurement processes and keeps abreast of best practices for his/her assigned business domain would be a plus point. • Familiarity and experience in SAP would be a plus point, particularly in master records management.
