What the role is

The National Marketing Office (NMO) at the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) has two broad remits: a) Facilitate the coordination of marketing and communication (Marcom) efforts across the whole of Government (WoG) by establishing governance mechanisms to ensure optimal resource allocations; improve WoG Marcom campaign effectiveness and generate cost efficiencies across WoG. b) Support the delivery of a unified SG nation brand to enhance Singapore’s perception and favourability, through strategic thrusts such as Brand Adoption, Brand Governance and Brand Advocacy.

What you will be working on

• Promote and drive a unified SG brand, contribute to the team’s implementation of the overall SG Brand strategy, and oversee the SG Brand’s digital presence on social media o Work with appointed vendors to develop and execute an all-encompassing content strategy for the SGBO-owned social media channels o Define content pillars, plan out the content calendar, ideate new content types and formats based on user research, behaviour, and market trends o Work with the vendor to ensure that the content delivered is aligned with the SG Brand objectives. o Be responsible for content performance and work with appointed media agency on the paid media amplification of the channels’ content o Establish and expand on digital analytics to measure the outcome and effectiveness of the SG Brand’s social media content • Assist the National Marketing Office team with the Master Media Agency (MMA) evaluation and manage queries regarding the Media Buying Period Contract and Framework Agreement (MB PCFA). • Support the team for industry webinars and ensure the webinar calendar is smoothly executed with relevant industry partners

What we are looking for

• Demonstrate understanding in managing brand image, presence, and growth • Integrated marketing knowledge and good grasp of effective brand marketing strategies for managing brand image, presence and growth on digital channels • Experience in working with diverse stakeholders including media, creative agencies, and various Government and non-Government agencies. • Strong presentation and people skills • Strong writing skills adaptable to both traditional and digital communications channels. • Good grasp of research with demonstrated ability to interpret data into actionable insights is an advantage • Good business acumen, analytical thinking and judgement • Work effectively within the team and with external stakeholders Please note that only shortlisted candidates would be notified.
