What the role is
What you will be working on
- Plan and manage social media content calendars
- Drive content curation and enhancement initiatives
- Source interesting and relevant topics
- Identify opportunities for effective online content
- Produce content for social media platforms, including conceptualising, capturing visuals, editing, seeking approval for and publishing content
- Plan, produce, and edit videos for social media, including concept development and scripting, filming, editing, and basic audio balancing

- Reacting quickly in fast-paced media landscape to harness opportunities for timely communication, so as to impact reach and deepen engagement
What we are looking for
- Education in Communications Studies or related fields with focus on broadcast journalism, film/video production
- 2 years of experience in communications, film/video production, social media production or related areas is advantageous
- Strong command of English
- Ability to write engaging social media captions
- Excellent articulation skills
- Experience and interest in social media content creation with relevant skills (e.g., social media video editing and production)
- Portfolio showcasing relevant skills (e.g., video production, photography and/or graphic design) is advantageous
- Keen interest in current affairs, government matters, military and defence topics
- Good interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate and work effectively with others
- Self-disciplined and achievement oriented
- Ability to work with tight deadlines

Successful candidates will be deployed to So Drama! Entertainment (a MINDEF-Related Organisation) on a 2-year contract.
