What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the team that is collectively responsible for the following:
Review tenancy agreements and hawker policies and develop strategies to ensure their continued relevance and alignment with key policy objectives of ensuring affordable and quality food options in hawker centres, enhancing vibrancy of hawker centres and community bonding, and creating a sustainable hawker trade
Coordinate with Ministry and other NEA departments on government communications related to hawker centres and markets management
Develop long-term strategies to ensure adequate and sustainable resourcing and management of hawker centres
Drive and coordinate surveys and sense-making efforts within Hawker Centres Group (HCG) to ensure alignment and relevance with changing policy and operational needs
Support management in monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators and strategic risks related to hawker centres and markets management
Collaborate with other agencies to support the delivery of WOG policies and programmes through hawker centres

Be prepared to work on occasional weekends or after office hours base to work contingencies
