What the role is
What you will be working on
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the crisis and continuity framework to ensure the resilience and sustainability of the project. This role requires strategic foresight, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of risk management to safeguard operations against potential disruptions.
1. Business Continuity Planning & Crisis Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan (BCP) tailored to the project, ensuring preparedness for various risk scenarios.
- Establish protocols for crisis response, including escalation procedures, communication plans, and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in operations, technology, and stakeholder engagement.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to coordinate crisis response efforts and ensure rapid recovery.
- Ensure alignment with national and sector-wide crisis management frameworks and policies.
2. Operational Resilience & Recovery
- Design contingency strategies to maintain service continuity in case of system outages, financial disruptions, or external crises.
- Oversee the development of backup and recovery processes for critical systems, including ticketing, payment, and user account management.
- Monitor incident response effectiveness and refine procedures based on post-incident reviews.
- Develop partnerships with key service providers to ensure alternative arrangements during disruptions.
3. Training, Testing & Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct regular crisis simulation exercises and BCP drills to validate response effectiveness.
- Train staff and stakeholders on BCP protocols, roles, and responsibilities during a crisis.
- Foster a risk-aware culture by embedding continuity planning into daily operations.
- Engage with policymakers, cultural institutions, and technology providers to align crisis responses.
4. Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards relevant to Culture Pass operations.
- Maintain updated documentation of BCP policies, processes, and response measures.
- Conduct post-crisis evaluations to refine strategies and improve resilience measures.
- Stay informed on emerging risks and industry best practices in crisis and continuity management.

Experiences
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in business continuity, crisis management and risk mitigation.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, financial transactions, and data security risks
- Experience in the arts, culture, or public service sectors is an advantage.
