What you will be working on

[Specific Job Responsibilities] Reporting to the Assistant Director (Talent Management), you will be part of the team that supports and facilitates the Public Service Commission’s work in securing and developing top-tier talent through PSC scholarships and maintaining oversight on scholarships throughout the Public Service. Scholarship Finance • Conduct research, compute, and review various allowances related to scholarships. • Analyse scholarship cases to prepare reports and compute outstanding bond commitment and outstanding liquidated damages. • Support the administration of PSC scholarship finances at PSC Secretariat and at the Whole of Government level. • Review scholarship finance processes and policies. • Share scholarship finance knowledge and experiences with other public sector scholarship-awarding agencies. • Manage the annual budget process, oversee, and optimise the utilisation of the scholarship budget by carefully tracking the expenses of scholarship holders, university payments, and other scholarship-related expenses. Scholarship Administration Support • Manage the scholarships administration system, including maintaining scholarship holders' records, and tracking their academic progress. Assist with the compilation of data for research purposes, assess change requests from users and liaise with technical experts to improve processes. • Manage enquiries on Talent Management matters from the public and other government agencies received through the feedback management system. Maintain up-to-date logs on all enquires for knowledge management. • Coordinate and prepare scholarship agreements for newly awarded scholarship holders. Events Management • Coordinate and support the planning and logistics for PSC events, including award ceremonies and development programmes, and ensure the smooth execution of the event.

You are also able to examine complex problems using data and information to determine underlying issues, think on your feet and incorporate different opinions when developing an action plan.
