What the role is

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a vital role in maintaining road safety and enforcing traffic laws in Singapore. As a Court Mention Processing Officer in the Traffic Police Investigation Branch, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth court proceedings for traffic violation cases and supporting Investigation Officers in their duties.

What you will be working on

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient individual to join our Investigation Branch as a Court Mention Processing Officer. You will report to the OC Admin and be responsible for: • Preparing and dispatching court documents to the Traffic State Courts in a timely manner • Managing daily scheduled Court 7B cases and sending reminder emails to Investigation Officers • Ensuring all Investigation Papers (IPs), G3 Files, Memos, and Court Documents are properly prepared and submitted • Verifying and preparing summons for accused persons in 'Pray summon' cases • Updating court results in the Traffic Incident Management System (TIMS) • Assisting Investigation Officers with e401 report rectifications in CRIMES3 or TIMS • Monitoring and following up on compounded cases, pending appeals, and undelivered notices • Updating Conviction History accurately for various case types • Supporting daily operational needs of the department as directed by Branch supervisors

What we are looking for

• Relevant background with experience in legal administration or law enforcement are preferred • Proficiency in Traffic Incident Management System (TIMS), Computerized Investigation Management System (CRIMES3), and Integrated Case Filing and Management System (ICMS) • Sound knowledge of Court Proceedings on Traffic Violation matters • Familiarity with TP Court Systems and various court documentation procedures • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for coordinating with State Courts staff • Ability to troubleshoot problems and propose solutions • Willingness to develop new skills to enhance work processes • Good time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines • Flexibility to assist with supervisory duties when required • Possession of a Class 3 driving licence is preferred The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handle sensitive information with discretion, and contribute to the smooth operation of the court mention process for traffic violation cases.
