Division/Branch Description:
The Gambling Safeguards Division (GSD) oversees gambling social safeguards and preventive and rehabilitative programmes for individuals and families affected by problem gambling. Additionally, it serves as the Secretariat to the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).

What the role is
What you will be working on
Brief description of Job Scope:
In this role, you will provide support to the NCPG in administering gambling social safeguards to protect vulnerable individuals and families from problem gambling. Your responsibilities will include planning and managing the operations of programmes, ensuring their alignment with objectives and service standards, undertake reviews and establish systems and processes to enhance service delivery efficiency and safeguards’ effectiveness, across the division.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage operations of NCPG social safeguards
• Lead and manage a team in implementing social safeguard programmes
• Establish systems and ensure that operational standards are upheld
• Monitor and interpret operational data to ensure programme alignment with policy objectives
• Undertake reviews to enhance service delivery and streamline work processes
• Interface with adjacent divisions overseeing policy and operations policy to support policy reviews, legislative enhancements, outcome reporting, etc
What we are looking for
Requirements:
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated individual with a dedication to service delivery
• Strong background in service transformation and project management
• Experience in data analytics and data visualization tools
