What the role is
What you will be working on
You will work in a team to manage the implementation of grant schemes and review of other sanitation policies. You will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee and monitor third-party service provider to ensure proper service delivery, including training of officers
- Develop and review guidelines for the administration of the grant schemes and to meet changing demand
- Oversee stakeholder engagement strategy
- Process applications, including conducting random audit checks on-site for verification purposes
- Coordinate and facilitate the use of evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of the grant schemes
- Propose long-term strategies for sustained outcomes for toilet cleanliness / grant schemes
- Monitor effectiveness of the grant schemes and propose intervention measures backed by data analytics where necessary
- Review and analyse grant utilisation and disbursements
- Monitor feedback on grant schemes, assess appeals, attend to queries and prepare recommendation reports / reply
- Oversee investigation procedures for fraud or whistleblowing cases and facilitate the conduct of investigation by coordinating with the investigation team
- Oversee audit checks on third-party service providers
- Assist in any other duties assigned
What we are looking for
You possess the following qualities:
- 3-4 years of working experience in relevant fields such as grant management, grant governance, and project development and management
- Prior experience in policies and planning work would be an advantage
- Enjoy thinking strategically, planning and applying analytical reasoning
- Mature, proactive, meticulous and resourceful
- Able to work well independently and with a team
- Good interpersonal communication skills and enjoy working with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint
