As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Institution Finance in the Higher Education and Skills Finance Branch, Finance and Procurement Division, you will be part of a team involved in the formulation and review of funding frameworks and policies to better support the publicly-funded Institutions of Higher Learning (IHLs) and improve affordability for students while ensuring the sustainability of the higher education system.

• Develop and review funding policies and frameworks for IHLs such as the polytechnics, Institute of Technical Education, and Arts Institutions • Review the annual and revised budget estimates submitted by the IHLs • Evaluate funding proposals for new programmes and capacity building from IHLs • Administer grant disbursement to IHLs • Advise and support IHLs on budgetary and financial matters • Support transformation efforts to improve work processes and streamline reporting

• Relevant training or experience in Finance or Accountancy • Good written, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills • An effective team player with the ability to work with competing deadlines in a dynamic environment In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
