What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be responsible for the following:
- Perform audit on contractor’s performance and compliance and work with them to improve their work processes and standards pertaining to sanitation work
- Manage a team of Environmental Health Attendants to carry out cleaning at selected enclaves in private residential estates
- Carry out enforcement against contractors’ lapses
- Ensure that the infrastructure (eg roads, pavements, drains, vacant lands, etc) of land agencies are well maintained for efficient cleaning and work with them to resolve ground issues
- Manage oil spill operations and other incidents related to public cleanliness
What we are looking for
Job Requirements:
- Preferably with some experience in managing sanitation related works
- Relevant working experience in inspections, public cleanliness, or contractor audit would be advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- A team player with good communication, interpersonal and written skills
- Preferably with valid class 3 licence to facilitate travelling to multiple deployment sites within the day as the job holder could be assigned to available NEA vehicles for deployment to worksites
- Able and willing to work outdoors and occasionally on weekends
