What the role is
What you will be working on
You will work as an Engineering Executive in Tuas South Incineration Plant to ensure the plant and its electrical equipment are operated and maintained smoothly, safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for the following:
To conduct regular equipment checks/maintenance and planned special maintenance projects to ensure that the equipment in the plant is in good working condition.
To carry out prevention and breakdown maintenance of the Plant electrical and electronic equipment and control system.
To ensure that preventive maintenance and overhaul works are carried out as scheduled so as to achieve high availability.
To ensure breakdown equipment are repaired within the shortest possible time
To ensure all maintenance works are carried out safely and adhere to all safety regulations so as to achieve zero accident for the branch.
To supervise and guide staff to ensure that maintenance and servicing work are carried out safely and efficiently.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What we are looking for
Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Prior working experience in process/power plant engineering and the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment/systems would be advantage
Ability to lead, interact and foster team work
Good problem-solving, writing & communication skills
Mature, independent and resourceful
Highly self-motivated
Good presentation skill
Proficient in using IT equipment and computer programs such as Microsoft Office, engineering drawing software, SQL, etc.
