A career in SG Courts will enable you to help us achieve the Judiciary’s vision of inspiring public trust and confidence in providing an effective and accessible justice system in an outward-facing, court user-centric Judiciary We welcome you to join our team as: SENIOR EXECUTIVE / ASSISTANT MANAGER, OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR The Office of the Registrar manages criminal and civil cases in the State Courts by handling interlocutory applications and scheduling the trial diary, enforces judgments and orders issued in State Courts civil and criminal cases, processes appeals from State Courts decisions, attends to requests for State Courts case records and oversees all State Courts case records. You will be supporting the Crime Registry and at times, the Pre-Trial Conference Centre.

What you will be working on

• Process bail and court applications at the counter; • Support Judicial Officers in conducting chamber hearings; • Participate in initiatives and projects to improve work processes; • Interact with members of the public, lawyers, enforcement officers, Deputy Public Prosecutors, Judicial Officers, etc in the course of undertaking the above tasks. Please note that this is a full-time frontline position.

What we are looking for

• Ability to plan and handle administrative work well in an office setting • Good knowledge on the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Experience in a customer service role requiring interaction with members of the public will be an advantage • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (latter would be necessary to communicate with court users who are Mandarin-speaking only) • Good interpersonal communication and writing skills • Ability to work well independently and in a team • Ability to exercise initiative and multi-task • Fast learner and work well in a dynamic environment The successful candidate will be appointed on one-year probationary contract in the first instance.
