The job-holder reports to Head Security/Public Order Vehicles and will assist in the planning, management and delivery of Acquisition and Systems Management efforts to support SPF operations.

Responsibilities The job-holder will be responsible for the following: • Perform role as Fleet System Manager of specific SPF fleets, which includes Contract management and System management, and implement Quality assurance activities, and collection of Operational users’ feedback to maintain high readiness of SPF’s fleet. • Perform Project Manager role for Fleet upgrading, Fleet life extension, Fleet replacement or Fleet digitalisation projects • Develop plan and conduct trials on SPF vehicles for technical assessments and investigations. • Support in appraising SPF on Vehicle fleet related matters and provide recommendations as System Manager • Perform market surveys and capability studies on capabilility enhancements for SPF vehicles’ operating capability. • Conduct vehicle accident investigations, evaluate repair scope of work and cost (include purchase order processing, conduct vehicle inspection after repair and perform goods/service receipt for completed repairs • Monitor, analyse, and improve the sustainment of SPF vehicles with optimum cost effectiveness, which include collecting and analysing vehicle maintenance data. • Be part of a dynamic team driving key sustainment strategies and activities, particularly to raise the Reliability, Availability and Maintainability of SPF capabilities

Job Requirements • Bachelor qualification in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Systems Engineering (or equivalent) • Experience in Services Contract Management, Project management, Automotive engineering /maintenance operations are desired. • Willing to take initiative and drive improvements. • Effective and resourceful team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Hands-on and comfortable with on-site operations. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
