Singpass, the National Digital Identity (NDI) initiative, is part of Smart Nation's Strategic National Projects. Our team consists of engineers, designers, and product managers who are committed to developing technology for the public good. Our suite of services provides a secure and seamless platform for citizens and businesses to interact with the Government and private service providers, including the Singpass App, Corppass, and MyInfo. Our mission is to create a reliable digital identity for Singapore that simplifies transactions, empowers businesses, and guards against fraud.
As a Senior / Product Designer in the Transaction pillar at Singpass, you will play a key role in shaping user experiences that impact millions of Singaporeans. You will lead design initiatives and drive product vision across key products in the team, including Sign with Singpass, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions. There will also be opportunities to contribute to and guide work on the Partner Experience and Authentication teams. You are proactive, strategic, and influential, able to navigate complex problems, drive clarity, and champion design excellence. You will be expected to balance hands-on design execution with strategic leadership, contributing to both product development and broader design maturity within Singpass.
[What you will be working on]
Own and lead design projects from discovery to implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and engineers to prioritise, scope, and execute impactful design work
Elevate design quality through strong interaction, UX, and visual design, maintaining consistency across platforms
Advocate for user needs by conducting research and synthesising insights into actionable recommendations
Contribute to design culture by actively participating in critiques, sharing best practices, and mentoring junior designers
Develop scalable design solutions that align with product strategy and technical feasibility
[What we are looking for]
5+ years of UX/Product Design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design execution
Proficiency in interaction design, visual design, and user research with a systems-thinking approach
Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate cross-functionally, and align design decisions with product strategy
Bonus:
- Experience mentoring designers and fostering a culture of design excellence
- Experience collaborating with or working within the government or public
sector
