What the role is

You will work in Environmental Health Institute, and be a member in the Facility, Safety and Quality Department.

What you will be working on

Responsibilities:

  • Drive process improvement initiatives through technology adoption in a research laboratory setting.
  • Propose and implement digital solutions to streamline procurement and quality documentation processes.
  • Develop and implement new operational models to enhance laboratory supplies procurement efficiency.
  • Review and standardise EHI's safety documents to align with NEA's corporate requirements and ISO9001/ISO17025 accreditation standards.

What we are looking for

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience in scientific/research facilities, preferably in laboratory operations and quality management.
  • Proven track record in process improvement with experience in implementing digital transformation solutions.
  • Knowledge of government procurement policies and procedures.
  • Experience in procurement operations and contract management.
  • Experience in Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety (QEHS) management systems, including risk assessment, safety documentation and bizSAFE Level 3 (or above) implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management abilities.
