The job holder is responsible for handling and executing the end-to-end processing of service injury (SI) and death compensation cases for MHA National Servicemen. The job requires close partnership with HTDs to determine whether cases are attributable to service and to seek appropriate compensation for the officer. The job holder will also assist in the review and implementation of SI processes and guidelines.

• Processing of the service injury and death compensation from case reporting, assessment, medical treatment till compensation or closure of case. • Liaise with stakeholders (e.g. National Servicemen, HTDs, hospitals, HTMSD etc) to obtain case facts and medical documents. • Handle queries from national servicemen. • Identify areas of improvement or workflows/processes that can be further streamlined/harmonized. • Formulate, review, and update SOPs for the administering of SI/Death compensation matters. • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
