The incumbent will be part of the team maintaining professional standards of registered healthcare professionals while simultaneously supporting the implementation of regulatory transformation initiatives across the Healthcare Professional Boards.
The candidate would be required to work with senior management and different stakeholders across professional boards and agencies under the healthcare family, in a fast-paced environment.

What the role is
What you will be working on
1. Regulatory Transformation Review
• Assist to perform in-depth review of the Complaints, Disciplinary and Investigation processes of the Healthcare Professional Boards (e.g. process mapping, propose improvements to processes, work closely with senior management on transformation strategies, serve as liaison officer between stakeholder agencies, and track project timelines)
• Support the communications, engagement and change management plans to stakeholders and staff
• Provide staffing and secretariat support in relation to regulatory transformation review
2. Professional Conduct and Standards Operations
• Support various committees in complaints and disciplinary processes
• Advise on possible avenues/options and draft comprehensive reports
• Collaborate with legal counsel on case preparation for Disciplinary Tribunals
• Assist with projects related to medical ethics
• Draft responses to enquiries from doctors and the public
3. Any other duties as may be assigned

What we are looking for
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Paralegal work or regulatory roles in public institutions/civil service
- Healthcare or life sciences background
- Insurance claims adjudication and underwriting
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to explore issues from multiple perspectives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Words)
• Meticulous and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Able to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work beyond office hours during peak periods
