What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the Operations Planning & Excellence (OPE) Branch that oversees the development
of the suite of FLG services and programmes, spearheads FLG’s workplan and transformation plans, in
order to enhance customer experience, improve service delivery and programme effectiveness.
You will be a key member of the Ops Planning team responsible for planning, formulating and enhancing
the overall suite of family services and programmes across the FLG Divisions, to deliver MSF’s strategic
outcomes of encouraging marriage and parenthood, reducing marriage dissolution, and improving
family resilience. The role involves:
• Conduct systems-level review and planning for the overall suite of FLG services and
programmes that involves both Ministry and Whole-of-Government (WOG) stakeholders.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve service delivery and programme implementation to
better serve families through all stages of life.
• Evaluate and address cross-cutting service gaps and enhance customer experience.
• Spearhead FLG’s workplan and transformation plans
What we are looking for
• At least 5 years of experience in ops planning and/or policy and strategy development work.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse issues from a strategic and systems perspective, while having a good grasp of details and
processes.
• Ability to conceptualise quickly, multi-task and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good stakeholder engagement and management skills.
Ability to work independently and in team
