What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities:
1. Workplan Coordination:
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop the annual HR workplans
- Ensure alignment of divisional plans with overall HR strategy and organisational goals
- Monitor progress and facilitate regular reviews of workplans
2. Technology Advancement:
- Assess current technological capabilities within the HR department
- Research and recommend new HR technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance digital literacy and tech competencies among HR staff
- Liaise with stakeholders department to ensure smooth integration of new HR technologies
3. Budget Planning:
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process for the HR department
- Work with different HR functional lead to forecast resource needs and allocate funds appropriately
- Monitor budget utilisation throughout the year and recommend adjustments as needed
4. Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of long-term HR strategies
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within HR
- Analyse HR metrics and trends to inform strategic decision-making
5. HR Effectiveness Evaluation:
- Analyse results of HR Effectiveness Survey and identify areas for improvement
- Develop action plans based on survey findings
- Track progress of action plans and report on outcomes
- Collaborate with HR functional areas to implement improvements
6. Manpower Planning:
- Identify potential gaps and work with HR functional lead and Ministry to establish the extent of the issue and recommend strategies for addressing them. This would be in areas of succession planning, recruitment, promotion for instance
- Presentation to senior management to communicate the gaps and recommendations

Attributes
-Experience in HR, with roles in a planning or strategic role would be an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and translate plans into actionable steps
- Knowledge of emerging HR technologies and trends
- Experience in manpower planning and workforce analytics
