You will be part of the Strategic Financial Management Sub-Group committed to provide forward-looking services to internal and external stakeholders. We are seeking an innovative individual to join our dedicated team within the Finance Digital Services (FDS) Division as we shape the future of finance operations through innovative technology solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, recommending, and implementing suitable digital solutions, focusing on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Transformation:

• Participate in the implementation of digital technologies to transform Finance operations

• Contribute to the organisation's overall digital transformation strategy

• Align finance technology initiatives with broader business objectives

2. RPA Initiative:

• Identify and prioritise processes suitable for RPA within the Finance Group.

• Oversee the development of the RPA bots using UiPath and Python.

• Implement RPA solutions to streamline financial operations.

• Improve Finance’s proficiency in RPA usage and best practices, including conducting training and recommending external programmes.
   

3. AI Pilot Projects:

• Conceptualise and lead pilot projects to explore AI applications within Finance.

• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to develop finance-relevant AI models.

• Analyse pilot results and recommend strategies for broader implementation.

4. Technology Assessment and Implementation:

• Evaluate emerging digital technologies for potential finance application.

• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluation for new finance system and technology adoption.

• Develop and execute implementation plans for approved technologies and solutions.

5. Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with finance teams, IT department, and vendors.

• Present technology proposals and results to management.

• Ensure alignment between technological initiatives and stakeholder needs.

• Knowledge in Accountancy, Finance, or Business IT.

• 3+ years of experience in finance technology, digital transformation, or related roles.

• Strong understanding of financial processes and regulatory requirements.

• Experience in the use of Python and/or UiPath for automation.

• Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in finance.

• Excellent project management, communication and presentation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Keen interest in exploring new technologies and tools to automate, digitise, or improve processes.
