What the role is

Be accountable to build the cybersecurity capability development for MPA and the Maritime sector and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in cybersecurity. This role requires expertise in cyber security consultancy and assessments, cybersecurity capability development and project management.

What you will be working on

The key duties and responsibilities are to:

 

Cybersecurity Consultancy and Assessment

  • Define and customise security requirements based on project needs. 

  • Provide cybersecurity assessments for on-premise and cloud infrastructure, IT and OT systems.

  • Review and evaluate security aspects in vendor proposals to ensure alignment with internal standards and policy. 

  • Conduct and review Vulnerability Assessment (VA), Penetration Testing (PT), and Source Code Review (SCR) reports.

  • Conduct Security System Acceptance Testing (SSAT) to validate security controls before system deployment. 

  • Review risk assessment reports, identifying key security gaps and mitigation strategies. 

 

Cybersecurity Capability Development

  • Keep abreast of the latest industry cybersecurity practices and technologies and provide insights to CISO.

  • Recommend new security services and technologies to enhance MPA and Maritime sector cybersecurity posture.

 

Project Management

  • Lead project management efforts, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery to ensure timely and successful project completion.

 

 

What we are looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity consultancy and assessments.

  • Relevant experience in cybersecurity capability development and project management.

  • Relevant cybersecurity and penetration testing certifications such as CISSP, OSCP.

  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, OWASP).

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Work effectively in teams.

  • Strong analytical, writing and communications skills.

  • A good command of English.
