You will play an integral part in influencing the HDB heartland shops landscape – helping our shops play an important social role in providing convenient and affordable goods and services to nearby residents, and fostering a sense of community and belonging.

You will be in charge of research projects to track and enhance the health of our HDB heartland shops, using data to garner insights and translating this into policy solutions. You will also manage various commercial projects including budget meals, mobile minimarts, autonomous logistical solutions, as well as to drive pro-enterprise initiatives such as Fair Tenancy terms, digitalisation/e-payment, and fire insurance bulk purchase. Your responsibilities include: a) Tracking and analysis of various indicators and trends in HDB heartland shops data. b) Futures scanning to highlight upcoming opportunities and challenges in the heartland shops sphere. c) Undertaking inter-agency research projects to glean a better understanding of our heartland shops, and recommending policy solutions. d) Managing the policy, comms, and post-implementation reviews for various commercial projects.

• Background in economics or data analytics. • Strong interest in the urban development and public housing environment .of Singapore. • You should have strong communication, analytical and writing skills. You must also be able to work effectively in a team and be able to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
