Successful applicant will play an active role in handling, analysing and mining data to provide meaning analysis and visualisation for decision making. The key responsibilities include: • Analyse large amount of data for trends and patterns, and build predictive models and machine learning algorithms • Apply sound methodologies in data science, statistical analysis and data mining • Perform data visualisation to derive insights and value-add to decision making • Develop automated marking models for different subjects with constructed responses ranging from answers that are one sentence in length to complex answers requiring an essay or analysis

• Tertiary Qualification in Data Science, or Computer Science, or Statistics, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in manipulating data sets, building statistical models and hands-on experience in machine learning applications • Candidates with 0 to 1 year of working experience can be considered • Strong in programming experience and proficient in Python/R/C++ • Possess knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques, such as clustering, recommender systems, Natural Language Processing, Deep learning etc., and their real-world applications • Possess knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts, such as regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.
