The URA Academy seeks to develop urban planning excellence within URA and in the planning industry, through training programmes, industry engagement and sharing, developing L&D content, and knowledge management. These programmes delve into the judicious and innovative land use planning system that facilitated Singapore’s development into a liveable and distinctive city.

As a Manager within the URA Academy, you will: • Collaborate with subject matter experts to distil knowledge and create engaging learning resources, including multimedia and interactive e-learning content • Optimize, manage, and maintain digital platforms and content to facilitate seamless learning and knowledge sharing, including piloting new technologies and tools • Engage stakeholders to identify and facilitate initiatives to create, capture, organise and share knowledge effectively • Facilitate and organise learning programmes, training courses, talks, seminars

• A degree in relevant disciplines. In the alternative, candidates without a degree should possess about 10 years of relevant experience • Relevant experience in L&D and knowledge management • Familiarity with urban planning and development will be an advantage • Able to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams • Good written, visual and verbal communication skills • Self-motivated with strong inter-personal, organizational and problem-solving skills • Passion for promoting knowledge sharing and learning • Interest in keeping up to date, exploring and using new digital tools and learning technologies, including AI-enabled ones • Proficient in relevant software applications (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint)

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is Singapore's national land use planning authority. URA prepares long term strategic plans, as well as detailed local area plans, for physical development, and then co-ordinates and guides efforts to bring these plans to reality.
