What the role is
What you will be working on
Stakeholder Engagement & Community Partnerships
- Cultivate partnerships with other educational institutions, community organizations, and government bodies to support the development of full-time and part-time madrasahs.
- Engage with parents, students, and alumni to create a more connected and supportive educational community.
- Develop community outreach programs to support youth and lifelong learning initiatives.
IECP Partner Engagement and Collaboration
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with IECP partners, facilitating regular discussions on curriculum outcomes and educational standards
- Create platforms for sharing best practices and organise events (symposiums, workshops) to foster collaboration and innovation in Islamic education
- Coordinate engagement sessions with IECP partners for feedback and continuous improvement of programmes
What we are looking for
Education and Qualifications:
- Tertiary education in Islamic Studies, Education, Community Development, or a related field.
- Professional certification in stakeholder management or partnership development (preferred) - to demonstrate expertise in building and maintaining strategic partnerships and managing diverse stakeholder interests
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in education sector or community partnership roles
- Experience in Islamic education sector or madrasah environment
- Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and relationship
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s Islamic education landscape
- Excellent stakeholder management and networking abilities
- Strategic planning and project management capabilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Malay
- Knowledge of curriculum development and educational standards
Additional Desirable Qualities:
- Adaptable and innovative mindset
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Successful candidate will be appointed on contract basis.
