What the role is

You will lead a team to collaborate with other MOM branches on future plans focussed on Migrant Worker Housing standards and landscape. The team is also responsible to co-ordinate FAST Command’s Housing Operations for Migrant Workers with other MOM entities and external agencies. You will be a Housing Enforcement SME who works with Investigation Teams and Legal Services to advice FAST Command and support the periodic review of its operational processes.

What you will be working on

• Strategic Planning: Participate in the annual workplan development process and support the review of Migrant Workers’ Housing Conditions initiated by other MOM Divisions. • Operations Management: Co-ordinate FAST Command’s Proactive and Reactive Housing Inspections within FAST Command and with other MOM entities and external agencies such as URA, HDB and SCDF. • Housing Enforcement SME: Work with other MOM Divisions (such as FMMD and Legal Services) to guide FAST Teams on unique housing infringement cases to ensure legitimacy of MOM’s operations. • Processes Development: Develop and promulgate processes that are aligned with MOM policies to guide FAST Housing Inspection Operations. • Knowledge Management: Maintain and update the repository of After-Action Reviews, disseminating critical lessons learned and initiate timely process reviews. • Ops Systems Management: Oversee the management and utilisation of enforcement systems (both hardware and software) and propose enhancements when necessary. • Data Analysis: Analyse data compiled by the enforcement systems to facilitate the review of FAST Command’s operations.

• Prior experience in strategic planning, operations planning, enforcement operations, and knowledge management. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Resourcefulness and resilience, especially in stressful situations • Effective cross-departmental collaboration within MOM and with external parties • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking • Flexibility and proactivity in task management
