Roles and Responsibilities: Volunteer Management & Recruitment • Handle and respond to volunteer enquiries through multiple channels (email, phone) for a volunteer force of 8000, ensuring timely and professional communications for World Aquatics Championship and World Para Swimming Championships • Process and maintain comprehensive volunteer documentation including agreements, indemnity forms, and coordinate the distribution of uniforms and accreditation for 8,000 volunteers • To follow up on incomplete submissions to ensure 100% compliance before deployment Event Operations & Coordination • To assist in developing and managing complex volunteer deployment schedules across multiple venues and event segments, coordinating over 30,000 shifts to ensure optimal manpower coverage for all functional areas and timeslots • Manage volunteer check-in/out processes and maintain attendance records Event Support • Provide on-site supervision and support during events • Ensure smooth coordination between volunteers and various event functional areas

This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. • Good knowledge of government procurement policies, processes and procedures • IT system knowledge and computer related skills • Relevant experience in administrative support • Strong project management, organisation and interpersonal skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and conceptualisation abilities • Able to work well in teams, multi-task and adapt to change • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both in teams as well as independently • Able to engage and communicate with people from diverse social economic backgrounds, different ethnic groups and demographics • Dynamic and motivated individual with a keen interest in continuous improvement and work excellence
