Read to be SURE (RTBS) is part of NLB’s Libraries and Archives Blueprint 2025 (LAB25). RTBS aims to educate and inform the public on trending topics through a combination of curated content and accompanying programmes, such as its signature Mainstage Debate and Youth Debates. By exploring multiple perspectives on these topics, readers and participants will benefit from a balanced and credible knowledge base.

What you will be working on

End-to-end management of the Read to be SURE (RTBS) initiative, including:
• Oversee management of all aspects of Read to be SURE (RTBS) which include strategic planning and delivery and partnership management of RTBS
• Create audience development and engagement strategy
• Work closely with stakeholders and vendors in content curation, development and delivery
• Plan and liaise with marketing team to implement RTBS marketing, publicity, and social media management
• Develop and implement outreach & events
• Monitor and manage budget, procurement & contract management
• KPI tracking and management reporting

What we are looking for

You are a highly-motivated, independent and resourceful candidate with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in most, if not all, of the job roles above.

In addition, you should possess the following qualities:
• Proactive and meticulous, with excellent time management, project management, analytical and written skills
• Resourceful; willing to experiment, and good in networking
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Keen interest in current affairs, trending topics and issues faced by Singaporeans
• Willing to work outside of regular office hours and/or on weekends
• Experience in digital content creation, social media marketing, web design and managing live debates and emcee events are a big plus

Successful applicant will be appointed on contract till 31 Dec 2026.
