What the role is

You are responsible for Pearce Detachment's ground logistics. On this, you will need to manage the assets inventories and facilitate the associated processes to ensure its supportability for unit's operations.

What you will be working on

- Oversee the ground logistics of the Squadron which include building maintenance, procurement, accounting, issue, receipt of stores and transportation needs - Establish and manage contracts through procurement for infrastructure management and liaise with contractors for the maintenance works - Plan and oversee the transportation and logistics requirements in support of alternate air field deployment, maintain the fleet of military vehicles' serviceability through regular inspections and servicing - Work with overseas counterparts to ensure supportability Challenge(s) - Working independently at a foreign military base and adapting to foreign country work culture

What we are looking for

- At least 1 year of experience in logistics, building maintenance and procurement - Possession of valid Singapore driving licence and basic repair work experience is essential (You will be based overseas for this position.) Appointment will be commensurate with your experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
