What the role is
What you will be working on
• Strategically lead and manage the Issue & Renewal team, ensuring the effective and efficient daily operations, including the administration of security bonds and medical examination requirements for foreign employees.
• Lead the team in implementation of policies and ops requirements, including the development of Concept of Operations (ConOps) and communication/change management plans
• Spearhead system development projects, liaising with IT vendors and key stakeholders to guarantee that project goals are achieved and align with the division's strategic objectives.
• Proactively lead the team in the development of operational plans to effectively manage increased volumes of enquiries and appeals, particularly in anticipation of policy changes that could affect the issuance and renewal of work passes for foreign employees.
• Innovate and implement strategies to enhance the team's workflow through the integration of automation and artificial intelligence technologies, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Foster and maintain robust partnerships with various internal departments and external agencies to continuously review and improve the processes related to the issuance and renewal of work passes, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders
What we are looking for
• At least 3 years in a supervisory capacity
• Strong track record in operation management and process improvement
• Ability to work under pressure and handle crisis situation
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communicator with strong inter-personal and leadership skills who can forge effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Good team player with a customer-focused mindset
• Be able to work independently and adapt to complex changes
