What the role is

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and delivery of curriculum for diploma and specialist diploma level courses in supply chain and logistics management. Additionally, they will contribute to industry-related projects by applying digital technologies and data analysis techniques, demonstrating a strong understanding of both supply chain/logistics principles and ICT applications.

What you will be working on

  • Able to deliver lessons in various supply chain areas such as inventory and warehouse management, supply chain analytics, sustainability in SCM, international trade management, and generative AI tools in supply chain management.

  • Curriculum Development- Design and develop engaging and up-to-date curriculum for supply chain management courses, incorporating current industry trends and best practices.

  • Teaching and Delivery- Deliver lectures, tutorials and other courses, utilising a variety of teaching methods and technologies.

  • Assessment and Evaluation- Develop and administer assessments, including exams, assignments, and projects, and provide timely and constructive feedback to students.

  • Student Mentoring- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, supporting their academic and professional development.

  • Industry Engagement- Maintain strong connections with the industry organisations, facilitating guest lectures, internships, and industry projects.

  • Technology Integration- Integrate relevant software, data analytics, and digital tools into the curriculum to enhance student learning.

  • Stay updated- Maintain knowledge of current trends in SCM, including generative AI, sustainability, and data driven decision making.

  • Administrative Duties - Provided comprehensive administrative support to the section, adapting to and completing various tasks as required.

What we are looking for

  • Candidates should have at least five years of relevant working experience across multiple supply chain areas, demonstrating proficiency in the use of technology and analytics

  • Strong industry links and exposure, with experience in related sectors

  • Good understanding of the industry, developed through practical experience with established industry relationships.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels

  • Possess sound planning, organising and multi-tasking skills, with a strong sense of responsibility for completing assigned duties on time

  • Able to deliver lessons in various supply chain areas such as inventory and warehouse management, supply chain analytics, sustainability in SCM, international trade management,  and generative AI tools in supply chain management.
