The Urban Redevelopment Authority is a statutory board under the Minister of National Development (MND). Our Urban Design departments within the Conservation and Urban Design Group (CUDG) play a role in transforming Singapore’s physical environment and draw up district masterplans and urban design plans that contribute to the rejuvenation of our city centre.
As an Executive, you will help to support our work by assembling key planning datasets and identifying areas for improvement. You will also have the opportunity to explore technological solutions to make our work more efficient.
The successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract.

What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of a close-knit team that supports our architects and planners in their work. Your responsibilities will include:
a. Cleaning, processing and transformation of GIS and CAD-based data to support the assembly of the next generation of planning support systems.
b. Support our planning and system teams in developing solutions to improve our work processes.
c. Support the development of training and resources to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of new digital solutions and work practices.
What we are looking for
a. Technical understanding:
i. Diploma in fields such as architecture / engineering / interior design / urban built environment, or other similar fields
ii. Proficient in the use of drafting software (e.g. AutoCAD). Programming knowledge, familiarity with 3D modelling (e.g. Revit) and / or GIS software is an advantage.
b. Meticulous and able to comfortable with data cleaning and processing, particularly 2D CAD data.
c. Able to work well in a team, think creatively to address challenges and provide innovative solutions
d. Adaptable and responsive to changing requirements and priorities.
