ECDA’s Sector Planning team is responsible for the planning, design and development of preschool supply, to meet the demand for pre-school services in Singapore. This is a critical function to achieve Government’s goal of providing accessible, affordable and quality preschool services for young families. We are seeking individuals with a keen interest in the planning, design and development of preschool infrastructure, as well as conducting data analyses to inform both policy and operational/preschool service delivery.

What the role is
What you will be working on
You will work closely with government agencies and industry partners to conduct studies, feasibility assessments, evaluate proposals and guide implementation efforts to ensure the realisation of preschool infrastructure plans. You should thus possess strong project management skills and be able to manage divergent interests (land optimisation, financial constraints, needs on the ground, etc.).
You will analyse and harness insights from preschool-related data, closely monitor and propose adequate responses to fast-changing trends, as well as be involved in developing a geospatial preschool planning system, to better inform and enhance preschool infrastructure planning and service delivery.

What we are looking for
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience;
• Background in infrastructure/engineering/real-estate or early childhood education and working experience in planning, design and/or building management would be an added advantage;
• Knowledge of/experience working with geospatial planning tools; and
• Analytical, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
