Manager / Deputy/ Assistant Manager, Industry & Manpower Development

Join LTA's dynamic manpower development team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of Singapore's land transport workforce. As we navigate emerging technologies and evolving industry needs, you'll drive strategic initiatives to ensure our transport workforce remains competent and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement forward-thinking manpower strategies, including looking into new jobs and/or evolving skills requirements for transport jobs impacted by EVs and/or AVs.
• Analyse and track the local land transport manpower landscape, evaluating demographic shifts and macro-economic trends to inform strategic planning
• Lead data-driven manpower planning initiatives, conducting thorough analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in workforce development
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders including industry leaders, educational institutions, government agencies, unions and associations to develop effective training programmes and initiatives
• Coordinate industry manpower taskforce meetings and drive collaborative initiatives across the pre-employment and continuing education spectrum
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance industry competency levels and ensure a sustainable talent pipeline

• Knowledge in Economics, Political Science, Business Studies or related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in policy development, manpower planning or workforce development is advantageous
• Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies
• Excellent project management skills with proven ability to work independently and deliver results
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities
