As a Store and Procurement Officer under the Management Executive Scheme, you will be part of a team supporting the Commercial Affairs Department’s (CAD) operations, which is essential in helping CAD achieve its mission of preventing, deterring, and detecting financial crime. The Store and Procurement Officer reports to CSG’s Head, Corporate Support Division (CSD) and is expected to provide timely, efficient and effective procurement and exhibit store support to achieve CAD’s crime-fighting mission. This would require someone who has a good understanding of procurement policies and practices. Through such knowledge and experience, the officer will be better placed to advise users on the procurement approach and support them in the entire procurement journey. The other key portfolio would involve the effective management of CAD’s exhibit store. The officer must have effective planning and inventory management skills.

You will be responsible for: • Managing seized case properties and records; • Working closely with Investigation Officers for the storage and movement of exhibits. • Provide procurement advisory to users, which include CAD senior management members. • Ensure that procurement processes/practices are in line with prevailing policies. • Key interface between CAD and the various internal and external procurement staff authorities. • Provide procurement solutions to Head CSD. • Facilitate and guide users for their procurement needs. • Sourcing and conducting price assessment for goods/services to achieve value-for-money procurement.

• Relevant experience in inventory management; • Meticulous in record-keeping; • Able to work independently with minimum supervision; • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines; • Good team player; • Have a good grasp of English Language and possess good communication and writing skills.
