What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of a dynamic team to spearhead efforts to develop bus infrastructure such as bus depots and integrated transport hubs and leading the implementation of electric chargers at our bus infrastructure to support the deployment of electric public bus fleet. You will work closely with government agencies, technical professionals, and public transport operators to plan, review and develop these infrastructure projects. In this role, you will spearhead the masterplan, design and implementation of electric chargers at our bus infrastructure. Functions include:
• Shape strategy for the electrification of bus infrastructure such as bus depots and interchanges, including charging infrastructure capabilities and critical technologies to be developed to complement electric bus operations.
• Study initiatives and perform technology scans, market engagement, etc as part of the overall thrust to improve charging capabilities with operation and maintenance interests in mind.
• Track and manage electric charger system procurement and implementation at the bus infrastructure
• Develop the next generation Charging Station Management System (CSMS) that enhances operational flexibility and maintainability.
What we are looking for
• Knowledge in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Good knowledge of application development methodologies and implementation • Strong analytical, communication, leadership and presentation skills.
• Possess strong sense of responsibility, initiative and resourcefulness as well as keen interest in problem-solving.
• Able to work independently and a good team player.
