What the role is

You will be part of a dynamic team to shape and develop a vibrant and growing cybersecurity ecosystem in Singapore. Your mission will be to strengthen Singapore’s cybersecurity capabilities in innovation through the formulating of strategies, plans, and implementation of new and existing initiatives to grow the cybersecurity industry for national security and economic benefits. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders including government agencies, industry, institutes of higher learning, business associations as well as venture capitalists. You will also partner with the national CyberSG Talent, Innovation and Growth Collaboration Centre (TIG Centre) to drive cybersecurity innovation, and bolster Singapore’s reputation as a trusted digital hub to advance cybersecurity as an economic driver for Singapore.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities • Continuous assessment of ecosystem needs, to identify areas for Singapore to grow cybersecurity innovation capacity in the industry • Lead a team and provide programme oversight for the Cybersecurity Call for Innovation Programme through continuous refinement, adaptation and assimilation of new ideas for implementation. • Engage and influence Critical Information Infrastructure owners, and stakeholders from key end user sectors for the development of innovation challenges and for adoption after solutions have been developed • Continuous industry engagement for thought leadership and to help companies refine innovation proposals and submissions for funding • Monitoring of budget utilisation, review of performance indicators, and managing disbursement of programme grants with audit accountabilities • Keep abreast of cybersecurity trends and best-of-breed innovation programmes for cybersecurity globally and translate such best practices into strategies and initiatives for implementation in Singapore. • Be the focal point for effective alignment and communication with innovation partners and CSA. This includes capturing meeting notes/actions, driving action items to closure, and providing timely and regular updates to management.

What we are looking for

Requirements • Qualification(s) in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred but not necessary) • More than 12 years of relevant working experience, preferably in technology product development, programme or research management • Good understanding of cybersecurity technologies and solutions, and ability to apply this across a spectrum of industries • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking • Excellent writing, planning and coordination skills, with meticulous follow-through • Strong budget management • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage a range of internal and external stakeholders across all levels of seniority If you share our passion to make a difference in the cyber security landscape, take up the challenge and apply now.
