What the role is

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Practitioner to drive business users' transformation initiatives through Design Thinking and Service Journey projects. As a Senior Manager, you will lead internal transformation initiatives by engaging cross-functional teams to redesign processes, improve operational efficiency, and develop solutions for organisational impact. Your role will be instrumental in identifying innovation opportunities and fostering a culture of continuous work transformation across the organisation.

The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience in facilitating Service Journeys, with a proven track record of guiding cross-functional teams through the innovation process. Your expertise in innovation methodologies, combined with strong facilitation skills, will be essential in helping teams uncover insights, ideate solutions, and implement improvements that align with NCSS's strategic objectives"

What you will be working on

• Lead and facilitate service journeys to understand end-to-end processes and identify improvement opportunities with business users
•Deep dive with internal and external stakeholders to understand their challenges, gather insights, and identify unmet needs, focusing on public sector improvements
•Drive the research process with internal and external stakeholders to understand their challenges, uncover insights, and identify unmet needs, with a focus on delivering impactful public sector improvements
•Develop and test innovative solutions to enhance stakeholder experience and streamline business processes
•Lead, mentor, and inspire team members, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

Experience:

• Proven experience in applying Design Thinking and other innovation principles to drive user-centric solutions in the public sector.

• Strong background in project and stakeholder management, with a track record of leading successful transformation projects.
