The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime.
With the operationalisation of the Online Criminal Harms Act (OCHA) on 1 February 2024, the OCHA Office is set up to work with government agencies and industry partners to counter and combat online activity that are criminal in nature or used to facilitate or abet crimes. This includes issuing directions to online service providers to disable access by Singapore users to specified criminal content found on their services and requiring designated online services to put in place upstream measures to disrupt scams and cyber malicious cyber activities.
As a Staff Officer (Intervention) in the OCHA Office, you are responsible to work with various government agencies to take necessary actions under OCHA to disrupt the online criminal activities.
You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme.

What the role is
What you will be working on
As a Staff Officer (Intervention) in OCHA Office, your roles and responsibilities include:
• Working with various government agencies to promptly issue the appropriate directions under the OCHA to restrict the exposure of users in Singapore to online criminal content and activities.
• Undertaking review of all appeal and reconsideration cases submitted by the appellants to OCHA Office and working with the relevant authorities to prepare the required documents to address the appeal and reconsideration applications.
• Attending to enquiries from stakeholders and members of public.
