What the role is
You will be part of a dynamic team to strategize, develop and implement manpower development programmes and schemes for construction workers. We work closely with industry stakeholders including firms, Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs), and other government agencies to enhance business capabilities and drive innovation in the industry.

Your key responsibilities include the following:
a) Engage with industry stakeholders to strengthen their transformation capabilities through Built Environment Technology and Capability (BETC) initiatives, providing guidance and support for their transformation journey.
b) Evaluate and process grant applications and claims from industry firms, ensuring compliance with guidelines and coordinating with relevant authorities for approvals and disbursements.
c) Develop and maintain robust data analytics systems to track grant performance metrics, analyse trends, and provide regular management reports on the progress of grant applications and disbursements.
d) Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the effectiveness of BETC Grant programmes in enhancing business capabilities, including measuring outcomes and recommending improvements.
e) Develop and implement alternative pathways to bring in better quality workers, including establishing and implementing frameworks, criteria, and processes for skills recognition and qualification assessment.
What we are looking for
Requirements
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
• Candidates with work experience in (i) business excellence initiatives; (ii) grant management; and/or (iii) construction-related field will have an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong command of spoken and written English.
• Good interpersonal skills – able to influence and persuade stakeholders and work well in a team.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
