The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. Besides regulating building safety, we lead and transform the built environment sector in delivering a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment.

We are looking for resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore’s built environment.

You will play a major role in administering building regulations and developing new strategies that will shape a future-ready Built Environment Sector. You will be responsible for:

• Performing site inspections and the granting of temporary occupation permits and certificates of statutory completion; and

• Reviewing and developing strategies, policies and processes in relation to Building Control.

Requirements:

• Trained in Architecture, Civil and Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering 

• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in design and supervision of construction projects

• Familiar with regulatory requirements for building works

• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work in a team and possess eagerness to learn

• Motivated and fast learner

• Candidates who possess professional certification, or strong technical and/or data analytics skills will have an advantage
