Corporate Services Officer - SPF / OPS

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. The Corporate Support Officer (CSO) will handle fixed assets and procurement matters in the Operations Department of the SPF. The Officer is responsible to ensure that the acquisition, transfer and retirement of fixed assets are done accurately and in a timely manner. The Officer is also responsible for the purchase of goods and services, and ensuring that the procurement processes complies with government procedures and safeguarding the interests of SPF.

We are looking for a pro-active and dynamic person to be part of our Corporate Services Division. You will be trained to carry out fixed assets, purchasing operations proficiently using the relevant systems, adhering to assets and procurement-related legislations and policies. You will be working with officers in Operations Department in the areas of fixed assets and purchasing management. You are also required to process fixed assets and procurement transactions.

• Possess strong analytical skills and prepared to work on fixed assets, procurement and integrated logistical functions; • Meticulous and independent person who is able to carry out your responsibilities independently; • Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills; • Good time management; • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and SAP would be an advantage; • Preferably experience in accounting and/or finance related field.
